Bodnant Garden
Now, this one is a must-see for the gardeners out there – Bodnant Garden is one of the oldest and most popular formal gardens in Wales, as well as being a National Trust location.
This garden is located on a hillside that overlooks the Conway Valley, so you can just imagine how beautiful the views are over the surrounding Carneddau peaks.
Covering around 80 acres of land, it features various floral displays that have evolved since it was established in 1874.
But its biggest attraction is the 55-meter-long laburnum arch that was planted in 1880 and flowers during May and June – people travel from far and wide to see this!

Caernarfon Castle
For a history trip and just to see some gorgeous views, this castle is the place to go – and it took almost 37 years to build!
Started by Edward I in 1283, as a seat for his eldest son, Edward of Caernarfon, the first Prince of Wales – it’s a momentous location to visit.
Being one of the best-preserved medieval fortresses in Europe, you’ll be impressed by its stature once you visit, especially as it has withstood various sieges in its history.
This may seem like a very adult location to visit whilst on a static caravan holiday, but think again if you’re travelling with kids!
Schedule in some time for them, as they can enjoy archery, falconry and some fun history lessons – and the whole family can join in too.
There’s a little bit for everyone at this attraction and you’ll soon realise why it’s so popular once you visit!
