Three Premier League clubs will bid to make history later this month by winning three different European competitions in the same season.
Arsenal, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have the chance to collectively write their names into the record books by winning their respective fixtures.
Their involvement in the finals of the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League is guaranteed to trigger a betting frenzy in England.
Plenty of punters are expected to compare promotions, enhanced odds and free bet deals before backing the Premier League trio, with many turning to Best Betting Bonuses to check out the latest BetVictor offer ahead of the finals.
Bettors will also be weighing up popular markets such as outright winners, goalscorer specials, both teams to score and correct score betting as excitement builds towards the showpiece matches.
With that in mind, read on as we assess whether Arsenal, Villa and Palace can complete a European trophy clean sweep later this month.
Arsenal face a date with destiny in Budapest
Arsenal secured their place in the Champions League final with a 2-1 aggregate victory over Atletico Madrid. They now face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The Ligue 1 giants demolished Inter Milan in last year’s final and they are a good bet at odds of 4/6 to retain the title in Budapest on May 30.
PSG have defeated Chelsea and Liverpool during the knockout stage, highlighting that they have nothing to fear from Premier League teams.
The Gunners previously reached the 2005/06 final, where they ultimately came up short against Barcelona at the Stade de France.
A similar fate awaits them at the Puskas Arena against a team who look destined to establish themselves as the dominant force in European football.
Villa can enhance Emery’s superb Europa League record
Villa manager Unai Emery has won the Europa League on four previous occasions with Sevilla (2013/14, 2014/15 & 2015/16) and Villarreal (2020/21).
He is on course to add another success to his CV, with Villa strongly fancied to justify odds of 1/3 against Bundesliga side Freiburg on May 20.
Emery’s team were superb in the second leg of their semi-final against Nottingham Forest, and should have too much class for the German outfit.
Freiburg have never previously reached a European final, and that inexperience could prove to be costly against a team managed by Emery.
Villa can be backed at 7/10 to win inside 90 minutes and those odds are exceptional value when considering the strength of their squad.
Glasner bids to leave Palace on a high note
An impressive 5-2 aggregate victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in their last four tie sent Palace into the final of the Europa Conference League.
They will face Spanish team Rayo Vallecano on May 20 and should be capable of delivering a winning return to punters who back them at odds of 4/9 to lift the trophy.
Manager Olivier Glasner has done an excellent job at Palace, and he will be desperate to claim another trophy before leaving the club at the end of the season.
Vallecano defeated French side Strasbourg to reach the final, but will find it difficult to match Palace if they produce their best form.
The Eagles are a good bet to join Villa as winners in Europe this season, but Arsenal may ultimately prove to be the odd one out.
A power-shift in Europe?
The Premier League nearly had teams in each of the European finals last year, but had to settle for representatives in two after the Gunners exited the Champions League at the semi-final stage.
Tottenham Hotspur won the Europa League by defeating Manchester United, while Chelsea destroyed Real Betis to clinch the Europa Conference League.
Recent evidence suggests the financial strength of the Premier League is having an impact in Europe, particularly in the lower-ranked tournaments.
However, only two of England’s six Champions League representatives reached the quarter-finals this season, so their wealth is not as influential in that competition.
England is not the first nation to have teams in all available European finals. Clubs from Italy and Spain have both previously achieved the feat.
Spanish clubs reached three finals in 1985/86. Real Madrid won the UEFA Cup while Barcelona (European Cup) and Atletico Madrid (European Cup Winners’ Cup) finished runners-up.
Serie A clubs completed a clean sweep of those trophies in 1989/90 courtesy of AC Milan (European Cup), Juventus (UEFA Cup) and Sampdoria (European Cup Winners’ Cup).
However, their teams lost all three finals in 2022/23 – Inter in the Champions League, Roma in the Europa League and Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League.
Arsenal, Villa and Palace will undoubtedly be eager avoid suffering a similar fate.
