Hyunki Hwang, co-founder of MetaKongz and a leading figure in South Korea’s blockchain scene, is expanding into the Indian market through his new Web3 project, PUNKVISM. PUNKVISM Holdings Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as “PUNKVISM,” led by CEO Hyunki Hwang, announced on the 29th that it has signed an official agreement for the “Anushka Sen IP Limited Edition” with Story Works Co., Ltd., the production company behind a Korea–India co-production film starring Indian actor and Gen-Z icon Anushka Sen.
Anushka Sen is widely recognized as one of India’s prominent Gen-Z stars, with a combined social media following of more than 50 million. She starred in India’s popular drama Baalveer, portrayed Rani Lakshmi Bai in the historical drama Jhansi Ki Rani, appeared in Prime Video’s Dil Dosti Dilemma, and has also appeared on the global stage at the UN Climate Change Conference COP28, further strengthening her international presence. The Korea–India co-production film that serves as the foundation for this agreement is currently being filmed on Jeju Island, South Korea. The limited edition is designed as a key component of the film’s global pre-promotion campaign.
The agreement goes beyond a conventional IP merchandise model and is structured as an integrated promotional campaign with two core objectives. First, it aims to raise global awareness of the Korea–India co-production film being shot on Jeju Island and expand its fandom across India and Southeast Asia. Second, if the project reaches its target funding threshold, PUNKVISM plans to proceed with a follow-up initiative to install a 1.6-meter Anushka Sen monument at two major Korean landmark locations: N Seoul Tower and Hangang Park, subject to the relevant approvals and operational procedures. Through a film that connects Korea and India, PUNKVISM aims to demonstrate its long-standing flywheel model: extending online IP into offline landmark-based experiences.
The limited edition will be released in a random box format. Each box will include randomly assigned physical merchandise items such as IP-based TCG cards, collection-exclusive limited-design plush toys, and art toys. The probability rates for each item will be disclosed in advance on the sales page in accordance with applicable e-commerce disclosure requirements for randomized items. As official promotional collectibles for the Korea–India co-production film, rather than generic character merchandise, the collection is expected to hold meaningful collectible value for Anushka Sen’s 50 million-plus global following as well as character IP collectors across Korea and Southeast Asia.
A key differentiator of this collection is its direct integration with PUNKVISM’s global marketing platform, the “Ambassador League.” Holders who purchase the limited edition will become eligible to participate in the Ambassador League. When they independently create and post promotional content related to the film and the IP on designated channels, including Naver Blog, YouTube, X formerly Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, universal in-game item skins usable across the PUNKVISM game ecosystem may be distributed as contribution-based rewards for their promotional participation.
The in-game item skin is designed as a character skin that combines Anushka Sen’s IP with the motif of Dol Hareubang, the iconic stone grandfather statues of Jeju Island. By bringing together a Korean cultural symbol and an Indian Gen-Z star within a single digital asset, the skin visually represents the core identity of the Korea–India co-production film. More importantly, the skin is not designed to be limited to a single game. It is being developed as a cross-game skin intended for use across currently operating and future games launched by PUNKVISM. Unlike conventional game items that are typically confined to a single platform, the skin is designed to be managed as a holder-controlled digital collectible within PUNKVISM’s ecosystem, with potential interoperability and transferability subject to platform policy and applicable regulations.
The entire collection will be issued through PT. PUNKVISM INDONESIA, PUNKVISM’s 99%-owned subsidiary based in Indonesia, with transactions processed on a USDT-denominated basis. PUNKVISM has already secured an official legal opinion from a top-tier domestic law firm stating that the business model does not constitute an investment contract security under the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act. Financial settlements will be executed through a custodian escrow account, with statement ledgers shared simultaneously with both contracting parties. The sales page will clearly specify that the limited edition is structured as a membership-based promotional collectible that provides ambassador eligibility and digital collectible utility, and that it does not guarantee any form of investment return, dividend, or financial profit.
PUNKVISM CEO Hyunki Hwang stated, “This collaboration marks PUNKVISM’s first major milestone in its expansion into the Indian market, while also opening a new pathway for Korean content to reach Indian audiences. The fact that PUNKVISM is directly designing and executing a global promotional campaign for a Korea–India co-production film shot on Jeju Island and starring Anushka Sen, a Gen-Z icon with a 50 million-plus fandom, carries strategic significance beyond a conventional IP transaction.”
CEO Hwang added, “The limited edition is only the beginning. If the target funding threshold is achieved, PUNKVISM plans to move forward with a follow-up initiative to install a 1.6-meter Anushka Sen monument at N Seoul Tower and Hangang Park. When an Indian top star’s IP gains a real-world presence at two of Korea’s iconic landmark locations, it will showcase the RWA model we have consistently pursued: converting online IP value into offline cultural and urban experiences. The Jeju Dol Hareubang-inspired PUNKVISM game item follows the same strategic logic. It represents a meaningful case where Korean culture, an Indian star IP, and holder-controlled digital rights are brought together within one integrated package.”
Meanwhile, PUNKVISM is a Web3 project that inherits the cypherpunk ethos and aims to build a virtual-state ecosystem where participants can directly own and manage their assets with reduced reliance on intermediaries. With Korea’s PUNKVISM Holdings Co., Ltd. serving as the parent company, the project is expanding its global RWA business through its 99%-owned Indonesian subsidiary. PUNKVISM has secured the PVT ticker on CoinMarketCap, completed its debut on the global exchange KuCoin alongside its listing on MEXC, and was previously recognized as a Forbes RWA Innovator.
Through partnerships with Korea Digital Asset Co., Ltd. (KODA) for custody, NAVER Cloud, and AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC), PUNKVISM has continued to build a growing track record of offline real-world integrations. Its initiatives include the sell-out of the Fierce Hatch Arcade RWA, the execution of the Ronaldinho RWA Show, the BIBI pop-up store, RWA collaborations with four F&B outlets at N Seoul Tower, and now, the Korea–India co-production film IP limited edition centered on Anushka Sen.
