MESA International has announced its new collaboration with BadgeCert Inc., one of the biggest names in digital accreditation and professional endorsement. This new partnership will permit MESA certificate holders to feature secure, verifiable digital badges prominently across social media platforms, email signatures, resumes, and personal websites.
In the digital age, professionals are increasingly interested in publicizing their successes online. Digital badges have become a popular means of validating and highlighting these accomplishments, offering a quick and effective means of establishing credibility.
BadgeCert’s badges are validated by independent parties and include detailed “metadata” regarding the organization issuing the badge, as well as specifics on how and when the badge was awarded. These badges can denote various accomplishments, which include expertise, event attendance, membership, or the achievement of specific professional milestones.
“We are excited to offer digital badge services through our new partnership with BadgeCert,” says Chris Monchinski, Chair of MESA’s Knowledge Committee. “Digital badges have gained significant traction in the credentialing industry and we have found that BadgeCert’s reliable security and verification capabilities will protect the integrity of our credentials while also giving our members the opportunity to digitally share their hard-earned credentials.”
Ginger Malin, Ph.D., Founder and EVP of Business Development at BadgeCert, shares her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with MESA International as they are a leader and pioneer in Smart Manufacturing. Moreover, they are consistently exceeding their members’ expectations with respect to professional advocacy and technology innovation. This partnership will provide MESA International members significant value as they can now digitally store and share their verified credentials across the web.”
MESA International is set to immediately launch its digital badge services. All holders of Global Education Program certificates from the past two years (2023-2024) will receive their badges through this new collaboration with BadgeCert.
