HERTFORDSHIRE, UK 6th December 2022 – With the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant, Pickfords, the UK’s largest removals and storage company, has demonstrated its commitment to supporting service personnel, veterans, and their families.
The covenant was signed by Managing Director Mark Taylor in October. A commitment has been made to provide new career opportunities to those who have served their country, to treat them fairly, and to ensure that they are not disadvantaged in the workplace.
By signing the new covenant, Pickfords has committed to provide training and career development for ex members of the Royal Forces, veterans, their partners, and families and supporting employees who choose to be members of the Cadets and reserve forces by supporting their training and deployment.
The company will also provide commercial support by offering a discount to members of the Armed Forces when they move home.
