In a ceremony that underscored London’s status as a global hub for intellectual exchange, a select group of pioneers—ranging from biomedical engineers to financial AI architects—were recognised for their transformative contributions to the modern world. The awards, which concluded the ICDAM-2025 cycle, were formally presented during a high-profile hybrid ceremony held on June 13–15, 2025, connecting a global audience to honour the laureates.

To ensure the integrity and prestige of the accolades, the committee employed a “comprehensive and transparent multi-stage evaluation” process. A distinguished panel of eminent academicians, industry captains, and senior researchers—including luminaries such as General Chair Prof. Dr. Janusz Kacprzyk of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Prof. Dr. Vassil Vassilev of London Metropolitan University—scrutinised every application. Ultimately, only the top five per cent of nominees were selected, ensuring that the final list represented the absolute zenith of professional achievement.

Harshini Gadam, Excellence in AI-Driven Financial Innovation Award In the rapidly evolving world of fintech, Harshini Gadam has emerged as a key innovator. Winning the Excellence in AI-Driven Financial Innovation Award, Gadam was recognised for her groundbreaking work in integrating Artificial Intelligence into enterprise financial planning. As a Business Systems Manager, she has spearheaded the deployment of AI within the EPM environment, enabling businesses to predict sales quotas and develop predictive financial models through AI-based financial forecasting with 91% accuracy.
Her research paper, “AI-Driven Financial Planning: A Study on Predictive Modelling,” is a seminal text for practitioners moving beyond static spreadsheets to dynamic, AI-powered financial forecasting. Having also contributed to the book, AI-Powered Cloud ERP: A Guide to Intelligent Business Operations and Financial Planning, Gadam’s work focuses intensely on the practical application of predictive modelling to optimize financial planning and reduce operational inefficiencies. The judges commended her for bridging the gap between theoretical AI and real-world financial utility, driving measurable fiscal growth.
P.D. Patil, Lifetime Achievement Award (National Category) In the National Category, the Lifetime Achievement honours went to Dr. P.D. Patil, the Chancellor of Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth. Dr. Patil is a colossus in the field of educational leadership and healthcare infrastructure. Under his stewardship, his institution has transformed into a world-class centre of excellence, boasting NABH and NABL accreditations that set a gold standard for medical education and patient care in India.
Dr. Patil’s vision extends beyond administration; he has been instrumental in fostering a culture of practical innovation. Notably, he championed the establishment of a cutting-edge Regenerative Medicine Lab and supported student-led innovations such as the development of low-cost biological air purifiers. His leadership has also seen the university’s medical college earn recognition in Stanford University’s global rankings of top researchers. Mahima Bansod, Womanovator Award (International Category) Mahima Bansod was honoured with the prestigious Womanovator Award, celebrating her rise as a formidable leader in Data Science and Analytics. A recognised “40 Under 40 Data Scientist,” Bansod has carved a niche for herself by translating complex data into actionable business strategies. Currently a Data Science & Analytics Lead, she has been credited with architecting machine learning models that have revolutionised customer retention, achieving a remarkable 94% renewal rate in her projects.
Beyond the corporate landscape, Mahima Bansod is an emerging thought leader in applied AI, contributing research that bridges cutting-edge technology with real-world impact. Her recent publication, Enhancing Recommendation Systems with Language Models, explores how LLMs such as GPT can advance traditional recommendation engines to deliver more intelligent personalization. She has also authored scholarly work on predictive analytics for sustainable green innovation, underscoring her belief in technology as a force for societal good. Alongside her research,
Mahesh Kumar Goyal, Outstanding Achievement in Data Analytics Mahesh Kumar Goyal, a Senior Data Engineer at Google, received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Data Analytics. Goyal is a heavy hitter in the world of cloud infrastructure, known for designing “distributed cognitive systems” that bring intelligence directly to data sources. His work on “adaptive mesh intelligence” and AI agents has redefined how enterprises handle massive datasets.
Goyal’s technical leadership was specifically highlighted for his development of a Generative AI framework that automates complex database migrations—a tool that has reportedly boosted developer productivity by 50%. By leveraging Generative AI to analyse schemas and convert legacy code, he has solved one of the most persistent headaches in cloud engineering. His contributions to the field extend to his service on advisory committees, where he helps shape the future of data engineering standards.
