Capacity LLC, a logistics service provider specializing in eCommerce, enhanced product fulfillment, and pick & pack operations, has recently established a strategic partnership with Prolog Fulfilment, a top European fulfillment firm headquartered in Nottingham, England.
In this new collaboration, Capacity’s clients’ merchandise will be managed at Prolog’s facilities, streamlining the process of meeting delivery expectations for online shoppers in the EU, UK, and across Europe while simplifying returns. Clients will continue using their existing Capacity platforms without needing additional software integration and will gain access to Prolog’s well-established infrastructure.
“Brands looking for an efficient, effective way to scale in the United Kingdom and Europe now have an easy solution,” says CEO of Capacity Jeff Kaiden. “Meeting consumers’ delivery expectations plays a huge role in satisfaction and loyalty, and now customers can get their products in less than a day, and neither the eCommerce providers nor their clients have to pay airfare for any returns.”
This partnership between Capacity and Prolog simplifies international expansion for U.S.-based online retailers. Consumers in the UK expect to receive their orders in less than 24 hours with low or no shipping fees, and delays or high costs from U.S. shipments can affect sales negatively. The collaboration provides an affordable and efficient solution for Capacity’s brands to enter the UK and European markets.
Capacity LLC clients, who are already sending upwards of 50 orders a day around the world, will see significant reductions in costs. Moreover, they will benefit from more efficient operations and cost savings by utilizing Prolog’s expertise in global shipping regulations.
“We structured this partnership with seamlessness in mind. When a Capacity client wants to expand into the United Kingdom and the EU, all they have to do is say so,” says Prolog Business Development Director James Coleman. “Everything else happens almost automatically with no new processes or systems to learn.”
Emphasizing sustainability, Capacity will bundle its clients’ products and ship them to Prolog in containers, which will lower both the environmental and transportation expenses.
“It’s a win-win for brands and their existing and potential customers,” concludes Mr. Kaiden. “Now, anyone who seeks international growth can initiate it with a single phone call to Capacity.”
