Lado Okhotnikov, a founder of the Meta Force metaverse, updated the strategy for introducing decentralization into the development of the metaverse. The project is trying to overcome the Buterin blockchain trilemma, according to which it is impossible to simultaneously achieve the ideal in all three aspects: decentralization, scalability and security.
Focusing on hardening security can result in loss of decentralization or reduced scalability. At the same time, the desire for maximum decentralization can create problems with ensuring security and scalability.
Lado Okhotnikov found a way to get around the problem, but the events of April 2024, when the plant of the largest semiconductor manufacturer TSMC was destroyed by an earthquake in Taiwan, shifted the implementation deadlines. After all, an unsuccessfully built centralized production business model resulted in problems at one enterprise, which affected dozens of manufacturers using microcircuits.
In this case, semiconductors will play the main role in the development of artificial intelligence. These materials have unique properties and are indispensable in the development of AI, providing the necessary computing resources for training models and implementing technologies in various devices. They enable the integration of intelligence even into devices with limited capabilities, facilitating the development of intelligent systems on the edge.

In light of the development of the infrastructure of the Meta Force ecosystem, the project manager said that security and protection against fraud play an important role in the development of the metaverse. Okhotnikov cited the example of the zkEVM plugin, which is used to deploy Ethereum smart contracts on the L2 network without changing the code.
zkEVM provides high blockchain performance, security and confidentiality of transactions using the UTXO method. Talking about security and compliance with the law, Okhotnikov drew attention to the role of the trusted sequencer in the formation of transaction packages and the process of data verification in the first-level blockchain. As part of its decentralization strategy, Meta Force aims to create a distributed ecosystem that brings together developers, researchers and participants.
