Research suggests that the mobile gaming industry is growing faster than the overall gaming industry. Around 86% of the world’s population, or approximately 6.92 billion people, are presumed to own a smartphone, up from 49.9% (3.6 billion) in 2016.

Why has mobile gaming risen to an all-time high?

With these figures in mind, it can become relatively easy to understand why the mobile gaming market has risen to an all-time high, and why we are experiencing numbers that are showing it outperforming traditional forms that many generations had previously grown up with as their first choice.

Convenience must be considered a highly influential factor in this growing trend.
