Paint over and fix imperfections
If the property has been inhabited in the long-term and is noticeably worn, the first step that will undoubtedly pay off for you is fresh paint. Yellowed or grey walls, or even peeling plaster, should be replaced with a new coating, which gives the property a much better impression. No one wants to worry too much about a property, and if buyers see that the property is freshly renovated, they will be willing to invest more money in it.
If you handle the modifications yourself, the cost will be in the range of units to lower tens of thousands of crowns, at the same time, the property price will increase by higher tens to lower hundreds of thousands of crowns depending on the amount and execution of repairs.

But even such an investment in a new kitchen worktop can pay off. Thanks to this, the property looks great in the photos, and the new kitchen can arouse emotions in the interested parties, and due to this they will be willing to increase their budget and push other interested parties. The property’s value can increase by hundreds of thousands of crowns thanks to a new kitchen.
Bathroom renovations also makes sense
If the ravages of time have taken their toll on the bathroom, it’s a place that’s suitable for improvement. You don’t have to furnish a new bathroom immediately from the ground up. But the solution could be new tiles or, for example, at least the regrouting. The old ones may already be clogged with dirt or, in the worst case, a problem with mould.
You can also replace the sink or taps. In short, look for small things that make the whole bathroom look much better with a relatively low investment. You’ll surely achieve this goal easily, and you’ll be rewarded with a few percent higher selling price regarding the property.

Home staging is a technique in which the property is temporarily equipped with more modern furniture for the purpose of taking photographs and for subsequent inspections. For example, design pictures can be put on the wall, and the lighting can also be changed to a more modern one. More indoor plants will be added, and some appliances may be replaced. Various designer blankets, blankets, new bedding or stylish curtains must not be missing.In short, with the help of simple tricks, the property can be furnished in such a way that it looks much more modern.
